Apple updates Keynote Remote to 1.1

Apple updated their Keynote Remote iPhone app today to version 1.1. It looks like this release is simply a bug fix for all the problems users have been having getting the remote to connect to Keynote 09.

Keynote remote, for those of you who haven’t played with it, is an iPhone app that uses Wifi to connect to any Mac running Keynote 09. The app then gives you previews of the slides and lets you view your notes. It’s not nearly as feature filled as the more expensive Stage Hand, but at 99 cents, it works pretty well (especially after this bug fix we assume).

You can pick up Keynote remote here, via the iTunes app store.

Also, if you are using Keynote remote and you don’t have access to a wifi network, you’ll want to check out this tutorial on setting up your own mini wifi network using your laptop and iphone.
