Apple releases Keynote 4.0.3

Posted by | Posted in iWork Updates | Posted on 04-04-2008

Apple has posted an update to Keynote that is said to “address performance and stability issues when working with large documents”. This is sort of a mini-milestone as this is the first version of Keynote to receive an update past .0.2 since the initial version went to 1.1.1.

You must have Keynote 4.0.2 installed in order to install this and, if you have problems updating, the most likely cause is due to Keynote not being in the iWork folder in your Applications folder. You can download the 20 meg update via Software Update or from Apple Support Downloads.

If this fixes any particular problems on YOUR end, post in the comments and let us know!

  1. For those following along, copying an object with a masked applied is still broken as is pasting a cropped image from Preview. Anyone out there with truly MONSTROUS presentations that are glad they got around to this (We’re looking at you, Al)?!

Also, what about those that have seen flashing on the screen using Keynote with a QuickTime background? Any better for you?
