With KeyStation’s upgrade to version two, this theme that works great for the web and interactive media has been given the same improvements seen in KeynotePro’s other “Platform” style themes. Redesigned for Keynote 3, KeyStation 2′s interface is rapidly customizable with simple background color changes or via Keynote-native shape objects and fills pushed behind the platform.

KeyStation 2 now includes up to 58 master-slides (in the Pro/HD versions), with more variations on popular layouts from the original, and a range of new layout options designed to make the theme even more flexible. The color of the theme has moved to a deeper richer-hued backing blue with softer contrasting chart fills. The edge overlays have changed from a stark black to a softer transitional gray with crisp edge that pushes the center panel forward. KeyStation 2 Pro (HD), available exclusively in the KeyStation 2 Pro Edition, expands the style into HD format with 16:9 and 16:10 versions of the KeyStation 2 design so you can create presentations that utilize the entire screen on the whole range of Mac displays; from the iMac G5′s s to the 30″ Cinema Displays and everything in between.

The supplemental materials include a fully interactive demo file that provides an overview of a basic KeyStation 2 presentation. It walks you through the palette and an range of interactive extras such as direction/navigation buttons, callout-design objects, and gives tips on how to get the best of of your presentation if being used as a touch screen kiosk.

KeyStation 2 Standard includes 4:3 ratios (800×600 and 1024×768) for $19.95 (or bundle with 2 other KeynotePro themes for $49.85).
