Palo Alto gets a Keynote 3 makeover with Palo Alto 2, a wholly revised enhancement to the print-inspired original. Palo Alto 2 is a general-purpose theme, with a clean, business-casual aesthetic making it appropriate with shareholder reports, abstract art or anywhere else clean lines and simple elegance will set you apart. With a wide range of text and photo masters (enhanced with a visible frame work of structure and visual accents) you’re given tremendous flexibility. This flexibility has even been extended to the color modification; use one of their suggested alternate color palettes or roll your own with great ease. This update follows the technique used in KeynotePro’s other Platform-style themes (such as OM2) in that every aspect of color and layout are also easily modified via the use of simple shapes pushed behind the platform layer.

Palo Alto 2 includes up to 52 Slide Masters (Pro/HD version) including unique, split-photo layouts which allow you to span both side of the page with a single photograph. Using the tips from the included Supplemental file you can easily transform the Full Body Photo master into a host of custom layouts that are more suited to your specific content. “QuickMask” slides clone key master slides with color-object masking already in place, making it easy to simply drop in your photography and move on to the next slide. The layouts are clean and contemporary, with custom geometric bullets and highly discernible charts.

The Supplemental Materials file includes the default Palo Alto 2 color palettes along with an expanded set of additional graphic elements, alternate color palettes plus bullets for quick reference and instructions for performing the color modifications on either small sections or the entire theme. Also included is a set of bullets that complement each palette as well as a Photoshop PDF source file for the bullet shape in case you need to customize them even further. For more variety, you can create custom layouts using the included layout element objects.

Palo Alto 2 Standard includes 4:3 ratios (800×600 and 1024×768) for $19.95 (or bundle with 2 other KeynotePro themes for $49.85).
